What are the best clothes to wear for my session
The clothes you choose are very important - they will have a significant impact on how your finished portraits look. Generally smart casual clothing suits our style of photography best.  The best colours are black, white, blue & cream, which are classic colours and most people have in their wardrobes.
Some examples of what to wear
Denim jeans with white shirts/Tshirts/Blouses
Black trousers with black tops or co-ordinated colours
Cream Chinos with blue tops or co-ordinated colours
When you have chosen your outfits, lay them all out on the bed if one item of clothing stands out, then that person will stand out in the photograph - so change it.
What if I am not sure
If you are unsure, bring some extra items with you and we can give you some advice when you arrive at the studio.
Some examples of what NOT to wear
A family of 4 people - 3 have black trousers and black tops - and I has black trousers and a white top, this will spoil the look of the portrait as the person in the white shirt will stand out too much.
It is better to have solid colours rather than stripes and fussy motifs
